In partnership with the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick (TIANB),with the Provincial Government, and with cyberDesign, this program will provide two key benefits to the tourism industry in New Brunswick:
1. Help get the tourism 'online'
2. Provide real-time vacancy information for visitors to Atlantic Canada with the capability of making immediate reservations
A key benefit of this program will be the establishement of a New Brunswick Online Reservation Network, which will form the basis from which real-time vacancy information and online reservations will be provided for visitors to New Brunswick tourism operations. Web-enabled Internet terminals will strategically be placed within Visitor Information Centres to assure that the latest up-to-date availability information is made available to the elusive traveler. For the 2001 season, this online reservation network may be linked from the official NB Tourism website at www.tourismnbcanada.com thereby allowing NB Tourism Operators the ability to accept reservations booked by an Internet user located anywhere in the world.
The principal benefit to any hospitality operator, choosing the INNSystems™ software and participation in the New Brunswick Online Reservation Network, is increased profitability from increased operational efficiency. This increased efficiency is gained by management's use of information concerning all operating aspects of the property.
What the INNSystems software offers at the property level, when connected through the Internet to the New Brunswick Online Reservation Network, is a powerful and flexible online method for reservation management. The software's reservation manager function removes the user responsibility of updating inventory, saving not only time but also potential human error or reliability issues.
Operating in "real time" for room availability means that everyone is selling from the same updated inventory at the same time, thereby eliminating errors and over commitment of inventory by theproperty.
